Fifty years of faithful ministry at St. Luke's, Grambling

Bishop MacPherson presided over a Sunday afternoon Eucharist at St. Luke's, Grambling celebrating 50 years of faithful witness of the mission to the Grambling, LA community and to Grambling State University. The 3:00 p.m. service was crowded to overflowing by parishioners and guests. Bishop MacPherson is shown here with members from the Grambling Canterbury Club who joined the celebration. St. Luke's vicar, the Rev'd Thomas T. Nsubuga and his wife Erinah, are at the extreme left and right. The Nsubuga's youngest daughter holds the bishop's crozier.
